The studio Haimat is a Swiss interior design office created in 2022 by Miriam Radermacher Pilloud.

Born into a German family, with a father physicist and a mother artist & painter , she was constantly enjoying the subtle duality and yet harmony between science and art. Her scientific mind & passion for construction allowed her to graduate in Civil Engineering at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL).

Extremely curious and constantly questioning status quo, her first career choices where driven towards understanding consumer behaviours and needs. 15 years spent in several brand marketing roles, complemented with an Executive MBA in Finance, allowed her to strengthen her multidisciplinary profile, navigating between brands, creativity, science and business.

Yet, her passions for construction, designing spaces and creative craftsmanship were still very much present. And couldn't just remain as a hobby. Having owned a Certificate in Interior Design at the Swiss Design Center (SDC) in 2021, she opened her own studio in the lovely village of St- Prex in Switzerland , and has the chance to closely work with interior designers in Switzerland.

She doesn’t want to confine herself into a preset style: her inspirations are driven by the authenticity of the place and the sensitivity of the future user.
